Your guide will pick you up in Page in the mid-afternoon, timed to arrive at White Pocket about one hour before sunset. Driving time is about 2.5 hours from Page. If you’re staying in Kanab, we’ll meet you at the junction of the House Rock Valley Road and Highway 89. Meeting times will be confirmed with your guide in advance. We should be back in Page around midnight. Total time will be about 9 hours. See below for time table.

What To Expect
White Pockets
The best way to experience this iconic landscape. As the sun dips towards the western horizon, the late afternoon colors of the sculpted sandstone come alive with a warm glow and the evening stars emerge for the big show. Most other people have already left for the day, but you’ll be arriving at the perfect time to enjoy White Pocket at its best – with few people, pleasant temps and a spectacular display of colors and stars.
We pick you up at your lodging in Page (or meet you at the House Rock Valley Rd junction) in the afternoon, arriving at White Pocket in time for exploring and photographing the terrain while the sun sets. Take a break and enjoy a delicious hot dinner while the sky darkens. Early evening is a great time to look for desert wildlife like owls, scorpions, tarantulas and ringtails. Then lay back on our cozy mats and blankets and let your guide take you on an incredible stargazing tour while sipping our famous hot cocoa.
